Graball, Tennessee - September 8th, 2011 - Rick pulled into a little country store to get a beer for the drive into town and came upon some "damsels in distress." Their car wouldn't start and it needed to be moved out of the way of traffic, so Snow came to the rescue. As he was pushing the truck into it's place, his new cowboy boots slipped on the asphalt and with his feet going out from under him, he went down on the ground landing on his right shoulder. Yes, that shoulder! He popped it back out of place but luckily did not dislocate it completely. It's now back out to where it was for the four months after he had the first accident. Rick says, "The show must go on! Rehearsals will continue regardless of what the condition of my shoulder is. This is nuts! I''ve got to stop doing these things to myself!"

Nashville - July 24th, 2011 - Snow has started rehearsals for the off- Broadway show that was cancelled due to his accident in February. All the particulars on the character he is portraying and what the show is about is all under wraps but once the script is complete and the theater is secured, advertising will begin and, "the cat will have to be let out of the bag" so to speak.

Nashville - July 4th, 2011 - Rick celebrated the fourth by working on the script for the new show and finishing up the work tapes for Snowman Blues and the other tunes he will be recording to finish up the Blue Cheese project. Number charts will be made from the guitar / vocals that he did and the next phase will be recording the tracks which he hopes to have done before the end of the month. Everything that was cancelled because of his accident is backlogged and knocking at the door.

Nashville - June 15, 2011 - During an exercise session yesterday, Rick's shoulder popped back into place with a loud crack. Rick said, "It was as if it was instantly healed and I knew immediately that my shoulder was back securely in place. The muscle pain that I have had for the last four months immediately left and I could move my arm better than I had been able to since my accident. It's a happy day."

Nashville - April 24, 2011 - Easter - Rick would like to thank all those who have inquired about his recuperation progress and extends his thanks especially for all the good wishes.
Recovery has been slower than anticipated. the damage done to the shoulder muscles during his accident was not as extensive as the damage that was done by the doctors pulling and twisting the arm in order to get the dislocated shoulder back into place.

Nashville - May 2, 2011 - Apparently when the doctors relocated shoulder, according to Snow, they didn't get it properly situated back in exactly the right place. He says if it is in the right place then some of the tendons or muscles are not back in place where they should be. Xrays show the shoulder looking as though it is back in place but it keeps popping around and is not healing the way it should be. The doctors said surgery is the only option but Rick is not going for that.

Nashville - February 3rd, 2011 - Rick Snow checked into the emergency room at Baptist Hospital this evening after a mishap on his property north east of Nashville. Rick was cutting some large trees on the steep eastern slope around noon time and while wrestling with a 90 foot leaner a wedge broke and sent him tumbling down the hill. When he came to a stop, he had dislocated his right shoulder around to the front of his collar bone. He also sustained other cuts and bruises but was only treated for the shoulder in the emergency room and released. He was told that it would be at least a two month recovery with therapy. All activities for the next few months have been canceled.
Rick is rehabilitating with some of his non-work related activities, swinging his golf clubs, throwing the frisbee and ball with Tootsie and lifting weights. Playing guitar for any length of time is strenuous but he is making progress and hopes to be back in the studio by June to finish the tunes for the Blue Cheese CD.
